18th Century farmhouse accommodation

Townhead Farmhouse b and b in Matlock

David and I look forward to welcoming visitors back to Bonsall for B&B from the 17th May. We have 3 comfortable guest rooms in the cottage end of the house so that you have your own entrance and can ensure ample social distancing and space.  We have also set up the cottage end of the house for self catering which might be more appropriate to peoples needs. Please contact us for further details.

We are hoping local attractions in the area will soon be able to open their doors.  These include Chatsworth, Crich Tramway Museum,  The Heights of Abraham and Haddon Hall.  Please look them up before you come as you will need to pre book.  This is also the case for National Trust properties.

The Kings Head is currently doing a lovely range of takeaway food and outdoor courtyard eating, the Fountain Cafe is open for outside meals and both will serve indoors form 17th May.  The Barley Mow is due to open for the last May Bank Holiday weekend and have plans for music and a lovely new menu.

One thing is certain the wonderful countryside will be open for everyone to enjoy whether it is on foot taking advantage of the amazing walking trails or by bike.  We accept muddy boots and dogs.

It has been a difficult time for us all but David and I look forward to welcoming you back to our wonderful part of the country, to relax, take in the views and enjoy  - well just being away from home really!
